The Path to Certification

  • 2023: First Application

    We applied for B Corp Certification for the first time in 2023. We were confident in our environmental practices and our mission, but the assessment revealed important gaps—particularly around governance documentation and workforce metrics.

  • 2023-2024: Growth & Transformation

    We got to work. We implemented formal governance documents at the board level. We tightened up our supporting documentation around our zero carbon and environmental certifications. And we grew—expanding our workforce to 9+ employees and actively building a more diverse team. Every change made us stronger and more accountable.

  • 2025: Certification Achieved

    On our second application, we earned B Corp Certification. Not because it got easier, but because we became better. We proved we could meet rigorous global standards while staying true to who we are.
