Our giant cardboard heart is part of our sculpture range, designed to create a strong visual moment within a space while still feeling approachable and human.

It works well when you want something instantly recognisable that draws people in. The scale gives it presence, but the material keeps it grounded. It doesn’t feel heavy or overproduced, which is often exactly what makes it memorable.

This kind of piece is often used as a centrepoint within an activation, exhibition, or public installation, where people can gather around it, interact with it, or use it as a photo moment.

Like all of our sculptures, it is a starting point rather than a fixed product. Each heart is adapted to suit the space, the story, and the way it needs to function within the project.

How It Works

Depending on the scale, it may be constructed in multiple parts for transport and then assembled onsite. Internal structure provides stability while keeping the overall weight relatively low compared to traditional materials.

For larger builds or public environments, the base can be weighted internally or integrated into a broader structure to ensure stability.

Because of the way it is constructed, the surface can remain clean and minimal or become a canvas for graphics, texture, or added elements.

Customisation and Branding

This is where the sculpture really becomes part of the project rather than just an object placed into it.

The heart can be adapted in a lot of ways:

Size and scale

From smaller feature pieces through to oversized statement sculptures designed to anchor a space. Scale is often determined by viewing distance and foot traffic.

Shape and form

The classic heart shape can be refined, exaggerated, softened, or stylised depending on the creative direction.

Surface finish

  • natural cardboard
  • full printed graphics
  • layered or embossed details to create depth

Brand integration

Logos, messaging, or campaign visuals can be incorporated directly into the surface or applied as layered elements.

Interactive elements

Open centres, cut-through sections, or integrated features can be added to encourage people to move through or engage with the piece.

Because these are custom builds, the final design is always shaped around how the piece needs to function in the space, not just how it looks.

Sustainability

The sculpture is made primarily from responsibly sourced cardboard, which keeps the material impact low while still allowing for large-scale builds.

Cardboard is fully recyclable, and in many cases, components can be reused or repurposed after the event rather than being discarded.

The lightweight nature of the material also reduces transport impact, especially for larger pieces that would otherwise require heavy materials and equipment.

For clients, this means you can create something visually impactful without adding unnecessary waste to the project. It aligns with the growing expectation for events and activations to consider their environmental footprint while still delivering a strong experience.

Ideal Applications

The giant heart works well anywhere you want a clear focal point that people naturally connect with.

Common uses include:

  • brand activations and campaigns
  • public installations and community events
  • exhibitions and gallery spaces
  • retail displays and window features
  • theatre and set design
  • festivals and outdoor events
  • photo moments and social media touchpoints

It is especially effective in spaces where you want people to pause, interact, and spend time around the installation.
